Ethyl ester comes from oils that are molecularly distilled – this is sometimes done to remove pollutants from inferior quality crude oils or for obtaining (artificially) higher Omega-3 concentrations. Is it important to note that the fatty acids in molecularly distilled oils are literally replaced by alcohols, which to us, doesn’t seem right for our pets.

Grizzly Salmon Oil is gently extracted in a centrifugal process involving a minimal amount of heat exposure. It is NOT distilled or otherwise further processed, as that would remove all the inherent antioxidants and natural flavor.
